Time gets eaten up. I try to dodge the bad weather to take Tim and Ted for a walk, that often isn't possible, though, and getting myself water and windproofed adds on ages at either side of the walks.
I've been busy writing - 1 book finished and new one 'bubbling'. I think Autumn and early Winter are my most creative seasons.
How about you? Do you feel more creative at certain times of the year?
Tim and Ted are 10 months now and don't look like puppies any more.
These photos were taken last week on one of the truly gorgeous (but a bit windy) Autumn days.

Hello Pat, long time no hear! Glad you are okay and writing loads. I'm having a break for a bit, having done 35k of the new book. I may pick it up again soon though. I just try to do as much of it as and when I can, no matter what the season...
Your boys are so grown up, they'd have my little Flynn for breakfast! Seriously, they look gorgeous x
Wow Pat, they've grown so much. I bet it has been wild weather by you - it's been bad here too.
Hi, L-Plate
Hope you're feeling better *HUGS*
35k is excellent!
T&T say 'woof' to Flynn; he'd be safe with them, one of their best friends is a teeny-weeny barge dog, aka Schipperke.
I'll see if I can add a photo of her.
Good to see you, Nell!
The boys are looking lovely. My lot are all seeking shelter from the cold, in the house at the moment. Very sensible x
It's always lovely to hear that a blogging absence has been down to nothing but lots of writing industry!
I'm near the end now. 87k! I never thought I'd do it. Maybe 6-8 k more needed.
Wow: you're right. Puppies have gone and grown ups have appeared but I bet they're still puppies in their heads, eh?
Oh look at your babies! All gangly teenagers and totally gorgeous!
I always thought I was more productive in warm weather but I'm quite appreciating a bit of stormy weather in my old age and hibernating.
Great to hear your writing is going so well.
Aw, T&T are all grown up. Very handsome indeed!
I think I'm more creative/productive in the Autumn/Winter months. I do so agree about getting water and windproofed though. It takes ages! :o)
Hi Pat, good to hear you've being so creative. My! How they've grown!
What handsome boys you have. I can't believe they've grown so much. Grumps will always be 14 inches tall. When my 4 yr old neice - who has a labrador - asked how long it will be until he's fully grown, she looked stunned when I said he'd finished growing.
Glad your writing is going so well. I'm taking part in NaNo and almost half way there - should be over half way by now...
Tim and Ted are so big - where did those 10 months go?
Congrats on all the writing, Pat - so pleased for you! x
Helen, I'm glad my furry N&Ns are snuggled in the warm and dry.
JJ, well done on a great word count! T&T will always be puppies in their heads - and in mine.
'Gangly teenagers' is a good description, Lane. Scruffy works well, too, because although hey're brushed at least once a day, the wind and rain soon wrecks their 'hair-dos'
Shirley, looks like we'll need to waterproof ourselves again today.
Good to see you, Chris.
Debs, Grumpy must be so much easier to dry off than my two are. Nice going on NaNo, almost half way is impressive!
Hi, Amanda, time flies, doesn't it!. Hope you're writing up a storm?
They're so beautiful. Must be very labour intensive keeping them looking so good in this weather.
The dogs are beautiful - I could just run my hands through their lovely, soft coats.
Autumn is my favourite season. I love the woody smells in the countryside and shuffling through the lovely russet-coloured leaves while my black labradors pretend they are puppies again and go shooting off to explore the undergrowth.
Gosh, I can't believe how much they have grown!! Stunning photo's of them...their coats just seem to glow in that light!!
Nice to have you back
C x
Glad to hear you;re still alive Pat! I don;t have particular times when I feel creative but today I feel about as creative as a teatowel. Not a good day!
Oh my, look at those two - how they've grown! But they need walkies don't they.
CJ xx
