R.I.P. Charlie-dog

So, Charlie-dog went off over the Rainbow Bridge at midday today.
He was fourteen so really it should be a celebration of a long happy life.
Bye, Charlie-dog.

I am heart broken for you that Charlie has gone over the rainbow bridge. It simply isn't fair that they have such short lives.

Happy hunting Charlie.

Pat, be kind to yourself now. Lots of chocolate and nice things.

Thank you for all the hugs and thoughts; they mean a hell of a lot to me and Peter (and I'm sure Charlie-dog is happy that new blogging friends are so supportive).
I echo Annie Bright's words on her blog about blogland.

I know you'll all excuse this 'blanket' response instead of individual ones. I'm crying as I write this, Match of the Day is on and Charlie-dog used to join in by bringing his football for us to throw.

Thanks again

Pat

OMG, that's so sad. I dread anything happening to our Molly. Charlie looks like a happy and gorgeous much-loved dog. xx

I can't even begin to imagine your house with Charlie-boy not in. I'm sending you and P cyber hugs from NZ.

Again, I want to thank all of you so much for your messages.

I often say things happen when they happen for a reason; I hope you'll all understand why Peter
and I had to do what we did when you read my new post...

RIP Charlie

Perhaps you'll meet my Blaze and Hans and Bonnie and Bob as you all play and chase in the endless summer meadows on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

I am so sorry to hear this. We lost one of our three pups in April and it is heart breaking.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your new addition must help ease the pain. We lost our 14 yr old Border Collie 2 years ago, and it's still hard.
I landed here via the Black Box and I so enjoy your blog! I shall return for sure!
Not sure why, but 90% of my Black Box hits land me on Writer's Blogs, and now I'm so facinated by You Writers, I love to drop in and catch up on what is happening OR not....
Have a great day!
